Finally finished. I now have a representative of each generation from Hildebrand to Shad. Now to map them to the Scouring


Cal is Finlay's youngest child. A sickness claimed Finlay and his older siblings, leaving Cal the sole heir to the family. Cal was greeted by many suitors who assumed the boy to be a girl. Cal also 'wielded' Dyrnwyn, but as the shortest Hyperion to wield the blade, he was barely able to swing it.


Vere came after Cal. He would reign as head of the family for a few years before he tried to claim Dyrnwyn from his father. Vere was found unworthy of the blade and died.


Burke was Vere's son. As a kid, Burke relinquished the 'head' position back to Cal until he was old enough. Burke idolized his father, despite his death early in his life.


And this is Marshall, Burke's son and Mason's father. . .Not much to really say here.

So...I just did the math and I have made 53 different Hyperions born into the family from Hildebrand Hyperion to Shad to his great-grandson Barrett(seen on page 1). And that is not including wives and their families. Or the original timeline families where Shad and Lennox are eclipsed by their still alive fathers.

Fairly simple designs, but I love the consistency in the family. Marshall is especially well done!

If I make them too complex, I find it hard to make them long-dead background characters. Welcome back, by the way.


So I mentioned I was working on this for a while now...and after I fought an awesome boss battle that seems like it is near the end of the game, it gave the inspiration to work on it some more. I can't really call it finished, and it seems like it's just pretty flat, but to be fair, that part of the outfit is never depicted with any wrinkles at all. Anyway, here it is. Shepard SoreyShad. It still needs some work, but I'm happy enough with it for right now. Plus, I have an extended version of the battle music playing in the background right now that is making me just want to post it.

Okay, so two more mugs for today.


First is a alternate color version of Shad's Sorey outfit. I just unlocked the Sorey's alt in game, essentially a color inversion of the default, which works perfectly well for me to use the Hyperion color scheme. Turning the black designs into gold I hate, because I feel I suck at trims, but I still have that music on in the background, so here I am posting it regardless.


And this is Rolance, a former knight of the Hyperion family. He was one of Maria's guards and when Marcus arrives there to find that Maria disappeared, the blame was pushed onto Rolance and he was relieved of his duty. Being pissed that he was made the fall guy, he defects to Lycia to hunt down Shad.

Got nothing for it. Probably random Lycian knight. Probably working with or commanding Rolance. . . .Can't come up with something for everyone.

So...I'm still bored and I didn't want to make more characters at the moment. Then I looked back and saw I request I did for Breadophile...and figured I might as well complete the set.


Here's my stab at Ray. Don't know if that's at all how you pictured Ray, but I'm free to change it. Colors are going to be subject to change since the only things you had in his description was green hair and very white skin. Even kept to the FE6/7 color scheme to match with Kalin, even gave him the purple eyes.

Remember how I said that I binged watched Symphogear when I posted Dain's battle sprite? Remember how I said "At least I didn't watch it and make a new companion for Shad or Lennox". Well that's still technically true...I began rewatching again yesterday. And here's what I did in the last few hours.

This is Akatsuki Kirika in her everyday clothes in Symphogear G.

This is my attempt at making her.


And this is me reusing that mug to make Luna, Alice and Shad's daughter. In both casual and fighting attires.

Made a battlesprite for Luna. Scythe design is based on Kirika's Igalima, except the blade isn't green.

Added armor versions to both her casual and combat attires. That wasn't really inspired or anything. Was not based on Kirika at all. Then you get to number three...Her headpiece from when she activates her symphogear. I can't believe I actually was bored enough to try making that. It could look a lot better. I see some things I could probably change now but don't have the urge to do so.

This is a reason I try to not make characters too complex. If I love how they turn out, I'll end up making endless variations of them. I made the original Kirika a little over ten hours ago and I've already made recolor and four variants off it in that time.

Pretty nice looking, I can really only notice Farina in there as far as chars, maybe amelia's armor? xP @Luna (I think)

Rebecca's face, the very top part of Marisa ponytail, the bottom portion of Farina's hair, the left side of Nils hair, a stray bang of Pents hair(overlapping Nil's bangs), the part of Lyon's hair covering his ear, the part of Leila's hair that hangs down on her cloak, the back and top portions of Vanessa's hair, L'Archel's body for the casual, Fir's body for the combat, and Amelia's armor. Combining the bottom part of Farina's hair with the portion of Vanessa's does look a lot like Farina's normal hair. And editing the eyebrows.

I'll see what I can do with it later. I got to get up much earlier than usual and I usually do all my spriting very early in the morning for some reason.

Also, sad realization I came to, but I have Id(Sorrow) playing in another tab and I remembered a line from Awakening. 'You deserved better from me than one sword and a world of troubles.' That pretty much happens to both Shad and Lennox, with Shad inheriting Daren's Schiavona and Lennox getting Dyrwyn. Plus, you know, an evil Lycian Empire. That was also the case in FE4, now that I think about it.

Haven't updated in a while You call this a while? but I have a handful of new mugs.


This is based on Bell Cranel from Danmachi aka Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? This mug will now be re purposed as Illya's brother. Hopefully not Comes in his brown/black coat from the beginning and in his black shirt attire midway through.


Made a Sacaen version of Leon, wearing Shad's Sacaen garb(sans hat/bandana). Made his hair longer as well, since it didn't make much sense to me for a Sacaen to have short hair. It also kinda serves as a contrast to his more 'cleaned' up Etrurian version.


These are two guys I came up with. Don't have names for them, but I've been thinking of making them friends/associates of Arthur and Lennox from their pit-fighting days.


So this is kinda an update to a character I refer to as Judas Laurel. In the original timeline, Judas is actually a son of Carla, named Leon after her brother. In that timeline, he had a sister named Prisca. If I remember the timeline for his history, he was kidnapped as a youth and lost his memory during the attempt. He was then sold off as a slave and renamed Judas with him taking on the surname of his owner. He would develop a split personality that was really violent and independent, whereas he was normally docile and obedient. He would slip into the other personality one day and kill his owner and slipped away one day. His face was originally just Alan with different hair, but I've modified it, adding new eyes and part of Pent's face/hair to widen the face.


And this is just another mug. Another member to Shad's growing harem of female companions. Hopefully not.

So that's all for now. Next time...maybe editing Shad's face? I don't know. After seeing A Working Man pretty much recreate a years old version of Shad's face, makes me realize that I could probably do with tweaking it a tad. Normally, now is when I would be doing this, as it is 5:02 am at the time of me writing this but I think I'm ready for bed now.

Okay...so I've edited Shad's appearance just slightly. It's still keeping with the spirit of the original, but looks different enough that I'm good with it.



Even old Shad got the treatment. What I've done was change the eyebrows, toss on a slightly different nose, and toss on almost similar eyes. It now isn't just Wil's face with different hair.

I like the new look. A lot.... But really, looks great. Love the one of him as a older man, it just looks wiser and more dignified, great all around. And that Bell Cranel looks really close to the character.

Thanks, I thought the tweaks came out okay. Also, thanks for inspiring me to do it. After all these years, I kinda forgot just how basic Shad's original look was. I did change his hair a bit over the years, but didn't revert to his new short hair until last year or so. As for Bell, I'm not fully finished with it yet. I still intend to add his armor at some point, but for now, I have a new mug to post.


So this is He Yufeng, from Lances n' Masques. I need to work on parts of the hair a bit more, but I like how it came out. Those ponytails were a pain in the ass, as well as bits of the side hair, but I was able to do it taking clips of bangs from other people and layering them. It also helped that the FE8 little girl's ponytails were a good match for the bottoms of her ponytails.

So...um. I was bored and made a new mug within the last two hours. I was thinking about how I hated ponytails on characters I wanted to make mugs for when I realized a solution to at least one of the characters I wanted to make.


So here is Tsukuyomi Shirabe from Symphogear G, the other half of the second lesbian couple in Symphogear, with the previous half being Akatsuki Kirika(who was repurposed into Luna).

Okay, so two new ones.


Yukine Chris, the third Symphogear character I've made a mug for. Now re-purposed as Illya's sister! I need to stop poking fun at that compulsion of mine. This is her casual attire from Symphogear G as well. She might also wear it in GX, but I can't recall at the moment.


And since I was bored, as I usually am when I make these things, I made a new harem member companion for Shad. Introducing Marina, a knight? mercenary? cavalier? Not sure which. At some point she'll come into Shad's service. I don't know. It seems like when I can't think of something to make, I just keep adding more characters to Shad's going list.

I guess it's somewhat of a good thing, because I never did a lot of mugs of female characters. I've actually found myself making a lot more women mugs as of late. Granted, a lot of them recently have been anime-based, but I've been dedicating more time and detail into them. Carla is just Farina's face with Rolands hair on Fir's body. Alice is just Priscilla on Neimi's body with part of Cecilia's hair spliced in. Although, perhaps the detail has been chalked up to just getting in a lot more spriting as of late. I feel like I've had a new mug made almost every other day at this rate.
