I wouldn't call myself the best example, as Comic Con is the only one I've been to. My sister went to several conventions over the years. In fact, she's going to one nearby with a friend on Sunday. There are tons of cosplayers and a bunch of stuff. The dealers room, aka wear you buy merch, is the entire third floor of the Javits Center. Bought that Lucina poster I mentioned up above there. There are a huge variety of things there. Last year they had a display showing off the different Batman suits with the wifi sponsered by Lexcorp. There are also panels there, but I didn't go to them. The guy behind Naruto was there last year, because they were premiering the Boruto movie somewhere nearby. My friend Sarah cosplays and had several photo sessions outside. She also got to meet Jessica Nigri last year, who she loves.
It was a bit awkward at times in the Dealer's Room because we pased the Fakku booth a couple times on the last day and we went straight to the MangaGamer booth because one of her friends we met up wanted to get a game there. I actually have a MangaGamer account, so I knew it was there and what kinda of content it has. So when he said he wanted to get a 'monster girl' game, I knew right where he was going to lead us. It's a bit awkward going to a hentai booth when you have your sister accompanying you. She's a year younger than I am, but still. I didn't want to let it slip that I knew just what kinda booth it was going to be before we got there.
They were also advertising that new Cartoon Network show with the three bears in the main area. It must've been fifteen feet tall.
(Not good at awknowledging PMs. But I've replied.)
