Massive jet lag, compounded with camping a couple nights at the airport.
Sorry for the relatively unannounced absence.
Much as I would like to, the registration and validation steps are completely manual on both sides. It really does suck for both me and the community at large.
I could say, to post if you want to activate your account on FETO as well, in the forum activation posts.
However, we rarely read or pay much attention to the validation posts; as long as it's not obvious spambotting, we instantly activate the user.
I would like to change this, but it requires taking FETO (as we know it) offline and doing intense rocket surgery.
So, I'm going to take FETO offline eventually and perform intense rocket surgery.

For example, when a person posts to get validated for this site, they could also list their FETO account so the admin could validate them at the same time? Therefore, instead of making prospective players wait 2-4 days and have to do an extra registration step, they'd only have to wait 1-2 days. I think this would help increase the player base of FETO.
