This is basically a remake of Final Destination, except it's enlarged so that it's the same size as First Destination, to prevent Orange from cornering Blue, turn 1. Also, just as a side note for Speedy, MAKE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK THE TERRAIN DATA BEFORE INSERTING! WE DO NOT NEED TO HAVE ANOTHER FORGED THROUGH HELLFIRE HAPPEN!

Comments:
Note the title, this is meant for Assault games. However there is a a third island but I dont care about balance affects. Players shouldnt really use it when theyre still opponents left with them on their starting island. It should only be used if creator doesnt use assault mode and then a result can be decided with the it (e.g play it out, or whoever has least units remaining has to let their units all be killed by other team, etc.)

This is my first map so sorry if theyre any problems, if the image doesnt match the code the image is correct

I actually really like the idea except for the fact that orange has the advantage. That might be slightly counteracted if the teams are Orange and Green vs Blue and Red instead of the perhaps more normal Orange and Red vs Blue and Green.
Other than that, there is no actually visible path through sea on the map. If you could make it so that, say, a bridge is visible and possible to pass through (preferably 2 tiles wide) then that would be great as well~

Yeah this map is based off another game where fta is much more important so Im happy to change the order around (and what you suggested is actually pretty much the original order anyways lol)

Imo the bridge should either be visible and usable or neither. And I really don't think that with a 5 man advantage anyone is going to "ignore" the purpose of the map. If need be you could make it so that it's diagonal, such that it would actually take very long to get to the other side of the map.

Well the bridge was always usable but now its a clearly visible island...boring
I had to get rid of my art for this...
Making a long winding path is pointless.
This is fine imo, up to players what they want do with this. Unless other people also have complaints im leaving it as is

I'd accept it if it were teams-only with Orange/Red/Yellow all on one side, but if you want it to be a FFA, you'll have to make the walls thicker (at least 3 tiles thick instead of 1) and make all the tiles except for the main hall "No Siege" tiles.

That being said, I'd use this over Battlegrounds if I want treasure, if we do make it teams-only.

EDIT: Glossed over the other map, but I don't really have the time to analyze it. I'll let MMM do it for me, lol.

Nowhere Islands look interesting enough, but:
1. The terrain doesn't look like it'll make it up to the player who is striked first on each island.
2. I don't know if it's just me but the top right island looks like it's 2 tiles smaller than all the other islands...? I'd fix both of these issues before putting it in.
3. 2v2v2 looks interesting enough but I'm not sure whether that's currently implementable, and in any case, I'd just go with the normal 3v3 (or FFA) modes.

Thanks for the input.

I'm good with teams only for the treasure rush. Smile Looking forward to treasure rush as opposed to gold rush.

As for Nowhere Islands, I wanted to make it different from just NtR on 3 islands, but I think the terrain is fairly balanced except possibly the bottom island which is 2 forests + fort vs. 1 forest. The top right is supposed to look like that since there was a severe lack in the right corner tiles to make them not all look identical... I think people can figure it out but can upload a new picture if not. If 2v2v2 isn't possible, I'm good with 3v3. Smile

Here is one for 2 v 1, thinking of adding 2 for Orange if possible, so it's 2 extra units vs. being a clump. or maybe 4:6:8 so that the goal of Orange is to take out 2+ units. Not sure if too imbalanced. But wanted to get feedback before converting.

This has the download for the map maker I believe.
Follow Speedys instructions (first post in this thread) when submitting a map. That map maker can generate the image but idk if theres an easy way to get the code. I just manually make a txt file with notepad but someone else might know a better way...
