Good technical morning everyone! Thanks to our main man Fensti, I was able to gain access to FETO and begin making some of the changes that we've been waiting years for. As you can see more Overworld sprites for units are appearing and the squares are slowly disappearing. I have discovered that I am also able to alter/add natures for FETO and would like to see what should be added. In the current build of FETO, natures give +5% in 3 stats while decreasing 3 other growths by 5% and leaving one of them neutral. Any ideas?

Pow/Spd/Luc+ may also be discussed.

Also with a nature, you get cumulatively a positive 15% in growths, an option could be where you customize how the 15 is allocated, where you could do 10/5. Ex. For say a glass cannon, instead of 5/5/5, you could do 0 pow, 5 skll, and 10 speed.

I'd say change Scholar's nature from neutral con to -1 con.

Making armors shoveable by more units without having to give it a shitty nature like Serene or Lightweight is a start.

Also, Aye to Pow/Spd/Res and Pow/Spd/Def. I'll leave the discussion to Pow/Spd/Lck to the others as I'm still on the fence on it.

I think there are literally no units that would NOT thank getting -1 Con from Scholar.

We could also have the respective -pow/spd natures. I'm not quite sure what would benefit from having such a nature having checked that armors really don't but then again, they may as well be there and people could always come up with builds for those.

I recall a few instances when trying to build an armor that -POW/-SPD/-LCK would have been nice.

I agree with the pow/spd natures being added and some new - con natures could definitely be very useful.

As well, the aformentioned -pow -speed -lck nature could very well also be -con, too; depending on interpretation.

What about a pow/skill/speed nature that doesn't lower hp?

Tank nature with +0% skill instead of luck?

With 6 non-HP stats, there can be 21 possible natures.
Looking at only positives (other non-HP stats are lowered):
No change - Balanced
Pow/Skl/Spd - Berserk (+1) (harder to rescue/shove)
Pow/Skl/Def - Brute (+1)
Pow/Skl/Res - Scholar
Pow/Skl/Luc - Offensive
Pow/Spd/Def - Warrior
Pow/Spd/Res - Clever
Pow/Spd/Luc - Lucky
Pow/Def/Res - Bulky (+1)
Pow/Def/Luc - Gladiator
Pow/Res/Luc - Seer (+1)
Skl/Spd/Def - Rogue (-1)
Skl/Spd/Res - Careful
Skl/Spd/Luc - Lightweight (-1)
Skl/Def/Res - Adept (-1)
Skl/Def/Luc - Skilled
Skl/Res/Luc - Resolute (-1)
Spd/Def/Res - Defensive
Spd/Def/Luc - Brave
Spd/Res/Luc - Serene (-1)
Def/Res/Luc - Vigilant (+1)

It's only 7 new natures, and they definitely will come in handy as well as create new possible builds. Pow/Spd (specifically Pow/Spd/Luc) was touted as "broken" but with the downfall of Pursuit, it's not too much of an issue. Allowing generics to reach max Avd could be nice. You may say that some of these natures are worthless, but I don't think so. I would love a Skl/Def/Res nature, especially if it didn't increase Con. Pow/Spd/Def or Res would have the increase of specialized avdy tanks. Some natures seen as laughable have now seen their niche (other than Balanced and Tanky >_>), so I'm sure these will too.

Glass Cannon would be gone but the only class that benefitted from that was War Medic and Monk promos...

SKL [2/15%]: 30.00

I was also about to suggest skl/def/res with neutral or - con, so I'm all for that, maybe the lck/def/res can also not have + con?

Would it be possible to have con separated from natures or something like that or, if that requires too much coding, maybe have all three con combinations for every nature?

Edit: Now that you have access to the code would it be possible to balance the classes, like making it possible for peg archers to get 20 pow and stuff like that?
