Well 2013 and this month

Me and my roommates started watching Space Dandy, and it's fucking fantastic.
Here's where I would write something I think is witty at the time, and later realize I'm an ass.

Too many to count. Let's just say I have a full plate.
Madoka Magica: Rebellion has been my obsession though. It's a great work and has a heavy dose of 'show, not tell' going on which makes it open to a kaleidoscope of interpretations. I see the characters in a new light probably every week.

Atm watching...
Nisekoi Ichijou, heir of a Yakuza family, ends up paired with a daughter of other mob family pretty much against their wills just to avoid a war between these two gangs. ...while Ichijou has a feeling for other girl... so... yup. So yeah, romcom, nothing too special... except it's animated by Shaft. Hamatora Yeah yeah people with special skills playing detectives or something. That's it. Log Horizon Yeah yeah people got stuck in video game without atmosphere that they're stuck in there. Pupa Yume saw a red butterfly, turned into a monster and her bro tries to find a way to restore his sister. Go go like up to 5min episodes but it doesn't really matter. At least it won't have like 75% pointless stuff. Sakurai Trick Before OP I thought it was going to be random comedy stuff but... then... holy shit I ended up watching yuri. Golden Time College romcom! with memory loss! (I'm getting lazy with descriptions...) (copypasta time...) Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta This is a tale of a prince who having lost everything leaves for a journey with no guarantee of returning to his hometown safely. With hatred and revenge in his mind, he met several people that taught him about friendship... and love. Hoozuki no Reitetsu Hoozuki is the aide to the great king of Hell, King Enma. Calm and super-sadistic, Hoozuki tries to resolve the various problems in Hell. What I do remember from 2013.... idk.. nothing too special at least for now.. expect Code Geass: Boukoku no Akito 2 - Hikisakareshi Yokuryuu which basically takes place somewhere between first and second season of Code Geass where Britain and EU are having their battles. Dogs go "woof", crows go "caw caw" and Serene goes "gargle gargle gargle"

I recently watched Angel Beats, Clannad, and Madoka Magica. However, all of that came within a span of 3 years. So it's been a while since I consistantly watched anime.
Though my favorite BY FAR is Gundam Wing. The original. Show me your moves. Formerly known as Magus.
I've got a humongous backlog, on my hard drive at the moment.
I prefer dubs, if they're of comparable quality to the jp audio, but don't mind subs if a good dub isn't available. I can't stand most (most) fansubs, and fandubs even worse. Why the hell do you need 234 MB worth of fonts? Why are you using DirectX filters in your SSA/ASS subfile? Why is there HTML5 on my screen? Whyyyyy are you loading image files off the INTERNET? No. No, no no no. Anyway, back to my backlog. All the Ghost in the Shell movies and series (I know, I'm rewatching SAC/2nd), All the Death Note movies and series Cowboy Bebop, Code Geass, Elfen Lied, Shingeki no Kyojin (jp/sub), and some others are on their way, too. I may start watching .hack// but I don't know where to begin. I tried to almost 10 years ago but lost the HDD with it after a couple episodes. I'd like to find Sword Art Online online. When I was at NYCC, I was online on an Optimum Online online hookup (we just call them "Online" here), on line for a Sword Art Online panel, and I found it online on line. Unfortunately as I found it the site wasn't online anymore. And my Optimum Online line disconnected. TL;DR: Online on Online online, on line for Online, find Online online on line on Online line on Online online line, but Online isn't online any longer, and the Online online line on the Online line went offline. Bummer. What I need to find though, is a good way to read manga on the B&N Nook Touch.
I'm not really big on anime. If I watch it the series has to be relatively short or I find that I just can't be bothered to keep up with it. Also, I hate ongoing series. Waiting forever for the next episode is annoying. If it's good I'd rather wait until it's finished and watch it then. I'm terrible for that. XD
I've watched Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo in the past and liked them quite a bit. My friend was really into Bleach for a while, so I watched it with him and liked it, it was good. I've seen most of the Death Note episodes but then ended up not watching the last few because of time constraints and a loss of interest. Strawberry Panic! was cute and I liked No.6. I watched Witch Hunter Robin when I was younger and I remember really liking it. I remember the mood was good or something, I don't know. I have good memories of it, so I'm afraid to go back and watch it just in case I don't like it. XD As of right now, I really love Attack on Titan. Again, I really don't watch anime, so I was reluctant to watch the first episode of this, but my previously mentioned friend really loved it and kept telling me to just watch the first one. I loved it. XD I was actually really surprised and ended up watching them all in a row without any breaks. I've never liked an anime like that before. lol EDIT: I forgot Elfen Lied. It was pretty good. I'm really more of a manga person and even then I don't read much manga at all. I love everything by Kaori Yuki and I'm pretty into Acid Town right now. I like horror/psychological/tragedy and I find that it's difficult to find anything really great in that genre anime-wise. Manga's sometimes good for it, but never anime. At least not that I can find. lol ~Forbidden Snowflake~

Oh yeah, totally forgot Seitokai Yakuindomo 2 (it's just simply awesome even it's just random stuff. Go check it out) D-Frag! and Witch Craft Works (some random nonsense, both of them)

I've never liked an anime like that before. lolYou haven't lost anything by not watching more than 1 episode I guess... first few episodes were great but the rest are just garbage (story doesn't move absolutely fking anywhere and predictable (seriously, you know what's gonna happen in next 5+ episodes), 3 minute long "previously on Attack on Titan... let's recap what happened in first episode just because we haven't done it 10 times already"). #PooponTitan And some ongoing series are worth of waiting... I guess... but it really sucks when there's like "no episode this week, derp" D: idk... I usually have some finished series to watch while waiting or check other random ongoing series (go go spending randomly from 1 to ~8 hours for anime almost every day ayaya!). Hmmm... some best stuff what I've been watching during last ~year... Bakemonogatari (nise- and nekomonogatari were cool too (mystery)), Akito the Exiled, Seitokai Yakuindomo (comedy), Fate/Zero, Spice and Wolf, Black Lagoon, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Corpse Party: Tortured Souls, Another, Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru, Kamisama No Memochou, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, AnoHana, Angel Beats... and some others I guess. ...holy crackers, I thought 99% of the stuff was crap but it looks like 98% was crap O: And before I end this post... anybody's been into Fantasy Kaleidoscope... well, if you haven't heard yet, 3rd episode is done. Subs and dubs aren't done yet so... yeah. Dogs go "woof", crows go "caw caw" and Serene goes "gargle gargle gargle"

Fantasy Kaleidoscope ep3 made me wonder if I was watching a show about cute girls doing cute things or Playboy Bunnies doing naked things.

I don't watch anime as much as I read manga, but I do enjoy watcing SNK/AOT. My favorite anime series are Hetalia and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. :3
Boo.

Started Mikakunin De Shinkoukei... yay, another romcom. Oh well, at least it haves a catchy OP instead of one that screams: "SKIP ME FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!"... yup.
Dogs go "woof", crows go "caw caw" and Serene goes "gargle gargle gargle"
When I hear SNK, I think Neo-Geo.
... There should be an Attack on Titan arcade-fighter. |
