I suggested these in another thread cause didnt know bout this one.
Anyways...Marked mode.Basically its like lord defeat but instead of losing when lord is killed, you lose when a random character is killed. Unlike the lord defeat mode, character wont get any buffs but to offset that the enemy wont be able to see which enemy unit is 'marked' (but you can see which of your units is marked). I think it would be interesting, especially how you manage the marked unit, you dont want it dying but do you risk opponent finding out which unit it is...
Another is skills mode, which would make skill activate easier (like lower the requirement by 1 or something). Honestly i would think this has been already suggested (and maybe shot down?) but i reckon it would like a fun game mode (like sadistic or sudden death or something).
Trapped mode, all the units in the squares around the edge take damage, next turn units in squares 2 or 1 from edge take damage, next turn units 3 or closer to edge take damage, etc. Basically force units to get to center and fight, variant of sudden death
Another mode is like the assault mode, except certain tiles (in the center and accessible to both teams, also can be many) grants a stat boost to first unit to get there and survive 2 enemy turns (or something like that)
Finally boost mode (also idc bout the names, they sound stupid to me anyways), where units gain small stat boost after kill.
