She wanted to slap the brigand when he took a sniff of her hair. Cecily never imagined that she would witness the rock bottom of society in the front row seat. However, Cecily managed to contort her look of disgust and contempt into one of resignation to her apparent future. She prayed that their mistreatment by these scums would be short lived. Then, as though answered by Elimine herself, the heart stopping screech echoed around the castle: her heart, at least.
Despite having heard those same war cries back in Tania, there was no way that Cecily could bear hearing it. She knew better than to scream, but her knees gave way instead. It was never the sight of a wyvern that intimidated her: Cecily had visited Bern's wyvern stables before, when she was a guest at a Bernese banquet, but she had never heard, or seen, these beasts wage war until very recently.
It was at Ellie's beckoning that Cecily gathered the nerve to scramble out of the way. The scene quickly turned to chaos as the brigands roused their companions at Leroy's brazen appearance. Satsume's approach helped calm her, though she was not one to admit it.
"It seems I was the one holding the rope after all," Cecily said with a smirk, looking up at him while still seated on the smooth stone floor. Cecily could already guess what Satsume wanted from her.
"That wound is going to hurt a lot more later if you use my galdrar," she added. But Cecily would oblige if he insisted, anyways. Despite her mannerisms, she trusts his judgment; he did save her life.
