Paige was feeling much better, now that she had food in her belly. While Shad and Eli were out scouting, she joined Satsume and Cecily in the tavern in a friendly game of cards. Even with Satsume's explanation of the rules, her only strategies involved variations of saying "go fish" or "tap two forests and one other to summon the Bernese Python". Needless to say, the librarian was more interested with the activities of Shad and Eli.

"It hasn't been that long," Paige replied. "Then again, I don't know how much time we need to cause trouble."
