Cecily curled her hair around one finger as she thought about what Paige said. As one of the main ambassadors that represented Laus in Lycia, Cecily had the opportunity to meet many people as well as hear the gossip of many places. However, not once had she heard of a noble by the name of Corran, particularly one of Ostia. There are several possible explanations that would make sense, but Cecily did not dwell on them. In any case, it is obvious that the Church is involved.

"We shall see whether there is an opportunity in the future, but there are more immediate matters to attend to," Cecily said. She stood up and moved to her own section of the bath, opposite to Paige's spot, and took off the towel that kept her modesty.

"It would do no good to keep the men waiting!" she teased, splashing some water from her bucket at Paige.
