Paige didn't feel awkward. She was mortified. She had everything handled when Satsume jumped out of the alley and wanted to talk about his latest "conquest". She remained silent until the soldiers left, but not long after that...

"Seriously?" Paige replied to Satsume, her tone conveying her anger with him. "We could have just have been people trying to clear the street, but you just had to put your ego into it. I swear, even Roland's not that bad."

Paige was making her way back to the inn to gather her things, but not before one final jab.
