Wolfram glanced at Shad, with inquiring eyes. How did he get a hold of a contact within Castle Pharae? That connection could be vital in a future conflict. In fact...it could be useful now. He looked towards the general direction of his wagon. Niime's research lies within. Three generations of her family fought along side the Pharae nobles a century. Perhaps journals of the exploits of the Young Lion, Roy, and his father, the Knight of Lycia Eliwood, could be found within. And this woman would most likely be able to lead them straight to them.
"The same to you, Paige. Just one thing I want to make sure of first. Did we save the village?," Shad inquired, believing that Marcus could have just been trying to soothe his thoughts. "As my uncle said, I've been bed ridden since that buffoon attacked. I haven't been able to confirm it with my own eyes."
"She's here, isn't she?" Wolfram replied. Shad glared at him for a second before realizing that Wolfram doesn't know what he meant.
"I'm not talking about the attack. I meant the village itself. The last thing I knew, I was trying to derail a giant rock with my magic . . ."Shad paused for a second, before remembering he was still in Lycia. "..-infused rapier.", he quickly added, "After that, I woke up at an inn in town." Marcus arrived with a platter with tea cups on it. He put it down on the table and sat down at the table at an empty seat. "Marcus, this is Paige. Paige, this is that friend I told the kid about. Who...I compared to the Loyal Paladin of Pharae. And coincidentally shares a name with." Shad drifted of the introduction and began taking a few tentative sips of his tea.
"You don't know, do you? My mother hails from Pharae. The Marcus of old is my name sake. I can only hope to live up to it," Marcus replied. He turned his head towards Paige. "Greetings, everyone. I am Knight Captain Marcus Carvax of Arretium and head of the household guard of the Hyperion family."
While those two were talking, Wolfram looked at the girl once more. Her subtle movements before have ceased. Fantastic. He knelt down to get a look at her face and saw it was red. "She has seemingly passed out again. Her face is turning red," He explained. He got back up and sat at his seat and took a sip of tea. "I would recommend relocating her as soon as possible, but I'd advice against doing it while she is unconscious. Could be dangerous upon her awakening, either for her health or ours."
