Take them prisoner? Now that was a bit harsh. Roland was impressed that the Lady Cecily could speak in such forward terms. They left little to the imagination. Thus, he resigned himself to travel to Bern. It could help in making some sort of contact with other Lycians, especially escaped nobles. He'd need to pledge his service to one soon, or risk losing his honor completely and becoming some old hermit.
Roland stood up from the wall and took his hand off of his sword. "Aye, I will follow you, my Lady, until you arrive to safety." And there was the cleric, already offering up her horse. He couldn't bear to be outdone by someone so common. He was more genteel, more refined, and yet, looked worse. He couldn't bear it one second.
"I, too, offer my horse to the Lady Cecily. Should your feet pound the dirty earth on our journey, I would consider it an insult to you and to myself."
