Lantis headed for one of the attacked mage knight, and turned to the Lycian cavalier who was about to attack the person. He quickly drew his sword, the long one, and slashed up before the horseman came in range as though it was just to stop him. However, the rider suddenly felt that his shoulder pad was hit that it fell off, following by his blood. Lantis didn't wait as he approached and struck the man with the dull side of his curved blade.
The black swordsman told the mage who was getting up on his horse, who appeared to be wondering about his savior but decided to leave anyway. Lantis then turned to check on Cinia just to find that she was under attach as well.
"Cinia!?"
Lantis felt he was too reckless and rushed to the girl, however, it was at the time that the arrow from above hit at the soldier's neck accurately. He turned to the direction and spotted the same archer as earlier, and quickly shifted his attention back to Cinia. The dark mage got wounded at her arm, just slightly but bleeding nevertheless.
"Sorry for intrusion, milady, but let me help." Lantis decided to carry her up, spooning up the robe to not step on it and slip. He turned back to check on the enemy and took the girl up to where the archer stationed.
Finally, the Lycian leading commander arrived the front line of his soldiers. He got some horsemen on his side to speed up to pursue. Lantis noticed that while preparing a medicine for Cinia, he said.
"it seems we can't let them pass."
