Cinia quickly turned her head around and observed the figures past her running. She sighed once more and shrugged, looking nonchalantly at the chaos unfolding before her. She was concerned, but her demeanor did not show it. She heard rustling nearby, but made no heed of it. I warned them. I told them that this ambush attack was a bad idea. Striking the fortress like that with a small mage force? The fortifications were strong enough to withhold, and the Lycians could strike back easily, like what they are doing right now! Cinia rubbed her forehead as she paced forwards along the path, squinting for a moment as she realized the pursuing Lycian forces were on their way. Soon, she heared the voice of a man. She turned to face the man who was initially cloaked, but soon pulled his hood down to reveal the face of a young man with pale blonde hair. He asked Cinia who she was.
"...Me?" Cinia tilted her head. "I am... just an ordinary magician. They did not heed my reasoning as to why this ambush would not work." she sighed and shrugged. The man then mentioned his intent to assist them, saying that he would stay here.
"Are you staying then, sirrah? Very well, I suppose I'll join you, then. I was already here to find a way to help them, but it seems the only way we are going to help is if we go directly into the fray." Cinia made it clear she was not going to give her name to this stranger immediately. She held her black tome tightly and quickly snapped her fingers, letting dark, but harmless, tendrils ooze and undulate into the sky.
"We can chat and get to the pleasantries later. You are right, this place is soon to be a battlefield. We are just merely two, so let's be careful." Cinia addressed her new ally briskly as she prepared herself to fight.
