Buying unbuyables... - LeaderR Elliot - 05-03-2014

Are there any plans on making any unbuyables... permanently or temporarily buyable... as in offers in the shop, I thinkmaybe it can be a programmed schedule and each person should be able to buy like 3 max of a special weapon per wekk or something... but I would like to be able to buy some rare weapons from time to time...

maybe they can even work like anna merchant shops... one item buyable once everyday...

RE: Buying unbuyables... - Pura - 05-03-2014

Hmm... idk really, it think item ranks should determine how often you could buy them.

For example:
D-ranks - unlimited or 1/ day
C-ranks - 1/ week
B-ranks - 1/ 2 weeks
A-ranks - 2/ month
B-rank Tourney and S-ranks - 1/ month
A-rank Tourney - 1/ 2 months

Or something like that, idk... but sounds more reasonable than being able to buy Hastes every day/week... and maps with chests wouldn't be pointless except for D-ranks... but fk D-ranks : P

DAT VAPOREON THO @Pura

But honestly, something like Pura proposed wouldn't be a bad proposal. Except I suggest leaving tournament items off the shop entirely. But stuff like Reinfleche and Maelstroms can be obtained that very same way.

My only problem is, this would make auctions entirely pointless. Not to mention, would make the only thing I have control over in FETO completely redundant, and pretty much, I no longer can do anything on FETO to please the user base.

But if we can get User Auctions going so they can pretty much sell whatever they don't need, in place of our current auction system, it's a fair trade-off.

Yeah... at first I was going to leave them but I was sure somebody would've been like: "you're so stupid" D:

And I don't think auctions would become pointless... you pick up your weekly/ monthly/ whatever unbuyable without a competition and then get stuff from auctions (= krypt bids 100k gold for every weapon).
User auctions wouldn't be too bad idea but... I don't think there would be much going on if people could pick what they want/need.
Even if it would give ex. a random S-rank weapon... yeeeah.. "Oh hey, I got Radiance. Now I have three of them. Now I can just spam one of them all willy-nilly."

And yeah.. Vaporeon... bloody Amie opened my eyes... I never considered Vaporeon a cute but... DAMNIT'SSOKAWAII!

Well on second thought, they wouldnt be so bad if, say, at the current auction rate we're going at now, you get them once every 4 months.

What I meant by user auctions is users auctioning off stuff they don't need.

For example, Nolan Kryptonite has 13 brave bows rotting in his storage, with no intent on using them. Someone else could make a use out of them that either doesn't have them, or has very few of them. (like Yenfay, Greene, to name a couple)

Having that replace the current auction system wouldn't be a bad idea, and in fact, will help the equilibrium a whole lot better actually. It would have to be run past the GMs first though. So we don't see trolls auctioning off Bronzes. >.>

I know what you meant D:
And damn, I would've thought that krypt would've spammed his braves if he has so many of them O:

RE: Buying unbuyables... - Falaflame - 05-04-2014

Yeah. From what I've seen, he even has some on units he rarely, if at all, uses.
