RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 09-26-2015

So...since I'm still in that Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers mindset, I bring to you the main character Adlet Mayer.
It's just something I've been working on for......two-and-a-half, maybe three hours now. It's not as good as the one I made of Fremy, but it's mostly a wip. If I didn't have to wake up for work in...five hours, I'd probably work on it more.

Oh, and this used the same base as the Ash mug from my first post.

RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 10-02-2015

Okay. So, here's another post. This one was prompted by several things, one being my last post Beginnings of Change, another being anime inspired, and the fact I haven't shown her off here. So, first things first, the normal timeline version, AKA original appearances.

This is Shad's little sister, Maria, sporting pigtails and living with her actual parents instead of adoptive ones. Maria was originally the first Hyperion with any magical talent and would have been trained from youth in it.

This is Maria many years later, during a rp where I was Shad's son Kay. This will probably keep being her appearance when she matures, but that isn't what this post is about.

This is current timeline Maria, or rather, current timeline-Shad's background Maria. This is her, with a ponytail, being raised by Tyber Fen and his family after Kelsey's death during childbirth. Tyber was raising her to be take over the Hyperion family when she got older, lacking any knowledge of the whereabouts of the elder three heirs(Maddox, Shad and Lennox). She was kept hidden very carefully after Faustus and co. arrived, fearing what trickery Faustus might have up his sleeves with any of other Hyperion heirs. Not long after Shad beat Faustus and took back the family assets, Maria and Wolfram fled Etruria for Bern before the impending Lycian blitzkrieg to continue her magic studies.

And this was the mug I was alluding to earlier. This is Maria as of the current time in the RP. Similar to the younger Shad and Lennox mugs...which...I haven't posted here yet...She's about ten years old and is ready to kick some ass. With Wolfram gone, Maria wants to take advantage of the lack of a guardian and explore. So she abandoned her dark purple cloak for an unassuming red one, let down her hair, and ran away to explore Bern, carrying some sweets, some gold, and an assortment of magic texts to use to protect herself.

[Image: ShadYoung_zpse94fe1d4.png][Image: LennoxYoung_zps38b059fd.png]
So I kinda forgot that some of these pictures I thought I posted was actually on the old forum just prior to the board jump. So here is young Shad and Lennox, roughly between eight and ten at this point. These are the outfits the pair were wearing when they fled to Ostia. Before they would retire those outfits, they would have killed some people first. Shad's first kill would be saving a younger red-haired Ostian girl *coughAlicecough* from an assault, an incident he can't really recall because he was thrown against a wall and into a vendor stand before the man succumbed to his injury.

RE: Swift's Mugs - A Working Man - 10-02-2015

Nice. I really like young Lennox. Normal timeline, not a child, Maria is nice, for a simple mug. For work involved, current timeline Maria at ten years old looks like you spent quite a lot of time on her. (Looks great, by the way). I sincerely apologize for the way I described the mugs, I even confused myself when I re-read my post.Huh

RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 10-03-2015

It's okay. I think I got what you were saying.

So, current Lennox needs a new attire. His current one is all well and good, as well as his Sacaen and armored ones, but a Hyperion needs to wear a long coat of some fashion, and here it is.
It channels a bit into his armored attire with the color scheme, but other wise it's just a open long coat, in similiar vein of outfit to what Radiance Lost Maddox wore near the end of that rp.

And because I felt like it, here are some battle sprites for once.
[Image: MariaSprite_zps7dusndhv.png][Image: LennoxSprite_zpsmnz59qnr.png][Image: ShadSprite_zpstllad2li.png]
So in order is ten-year old Maria, current attire Lennox, and future attire Shad. There are some hard to tell details, like Maria is wearing white shorts under her skirt. The Lennox one I made a while ago, the Shad one more recently, but the Maria one I whipped up earlier today.

RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 10-06-2015

Okay, so a pair of new mugs. Well, a new mug and an edit.
Carla, back when they were living in Sacae. Faustus married Farrah, a Sacaen woman, and lived amongst her tribe for years. Faustus was expelled for a time from the tribe, taking his son Corin with him, while Farrah was pregnant with Leon. Faustus struck a deal with the Chief's wife and was allowed to come and go as he pleased. Several years after Leon was born, Faustus came back to the tribe and within the year Carla was born. Leon and Carla lived amongst the tribe for years, while Faustus groomed Corin for his plot to seize power. Carla would learn from a very early age that Faustus only thought of her as a tool in his plot, despite constantly lying about his affection for her. She would go to [INSERT LENNOX FUTURE WIFE NAME], the chief's daughter, for training. When Faustus finally was ready to return to Etruria to claim the now vacant Hyperion lands, Carla had to be expelled from the tribe to force her to follow her fathers plan.

And here we have five-year old Alice, around the time a certain reckless eight-year old saved her from an attack in the Ostian marketplace. She would fall in love with the boy for saving her, but as she ran away she didn't know if the boy even survived. She did witness him take a blade into his side. She figured she would never see the boy again.

RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 10-07-2015

And....some new mugs.
So like I mentioned before, I based this on Fremy Speedraw with the intention of making her Lennox' wife. I now have a name for her instead of [INSERT LENNOX WIFE NAME]. Illya. This is her with her tribe in Sacae. She would train Carla with the sword, but her sword arm would get harmed when her tribe throws her out, forcing her to opt for a crossbow her mother had. Speaking of...

This is her mother. She would seize control of the tribe from her husband and ally with Lycia hunting down mages and relics, with the eventual reward of a march of her own to govern. She allied herself to Faustus years earlier, with the similar promise of Etrurian landholdings, but he severed ties to her when his other benefactor, Urai Zann, told him it was time to return. In her deal with Faustus, Illya was betrothed to Leon, but Urai recommended he take in Cassandra and marry her off to Leon, due to her fathers prestige.

Illya would be kicked out of the tribe when the Lycians she was being forced to work with mentioned stealing a Sacaen relic. She killed them in an attempt to protect Sacae, but in doing so made her tribe an enemy. Illya's mother cut her off with no remorse, telling her she was nothing more than a tool to her and her usefulness was at an end.

On another note...

This is Farrah; Corin, Leon, and Carla's mother...and Illya's aunt. She was regrettably used as a tool by both husband and sister, but was a caring mother to Leon and Carla. Farrah disappeared some time after Faustus took the kids to Etruria. Farrah was last seen speaking with Corin...the matricidal monster

And this I'm editing in. I need to learn to hold off on this ideas for a reasonable hour. I shouldn't be doing this at six in the morning.
This is Lowell Fen, the oldest of 'Tyber' Fens kids. He is thirteen here. Here's a bit of a creepy thing here. He is Maria's future husband, arranged so that Lowell would take on the Hyperion name, as a bit of an apology on his father's part for the 'sorry we killed most of your family'. The creepy part comes because of the fact that 'Tyber' raised Maria up until Shad showed up in the picture. Which means they grew up almost like siblings. If no one showed up to take over the Hyperion lands, that would have been a very awkward conversation when 'Tyber' explains everything to the pair.

RE: Swift's Mugs - Speedy - IX - 10-07-2015

first one is beautiful.
ever thought to alter the eyes on the two similar looking ones so they aren't "archer-limestella recolors", or so they're more than just that?

RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 10-07-2015

I did, actually. I used the eyes from uh...that wyvern rider lady from FE6. Miledy, I think her name was. I also swapped out the bottom half of Farrah(darker hair) to use part of Sonia's hair. They are meant to be twins, but maybe I should edit the eyebrows a bit. That's basically what they did with Lugh and Rei, change hairstyle a bit and eyebrows.

And thanks. If you didn't see it, I have two other versions of it on the previous page. I really liked how it turned in general. I worked on the base(everything but the outfit) for a couple days at least. Most of the other stuff I post usually takes me a few sleep-deprived hours very early in the morning before I go to bed. The last mug I posted that took longer than usual for me to make was the revamp of Lennox that you can see in my sig. I didn't even realize until I just looked but I used Canas' face for that, which surprised the hell out of me.

I actually have been getting a lot of traction out of Neimi and that beta version that looks like they fused Neimi and Tethys. I don't know how the resource sheet I'm using had it, but I've made use out of those beta FE8 mugs.

EDIT:
[Image: Farrah_zpsct1pdpup.png][Image: Farrah_zpswxtqvtqs.png]
Changed the eyebrows a bit and it makes big difference.

RE: Swift's Mugs - Pura - 10-08-2015

Well, not gonna go one by one so... in general, not too bad work. Could be cleaner tho and there are shadings missing every here and there.

RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 10-09-2015

Yeah, my shading has issues. Always has.

So...new mugs.

[Image: ArronHyperion_zpsvfgo13f6.png][Image: BriarHyperion_zps3rhxpref.png]
Arron and Briar Hyperion, the twins of Lennox and Illya. After Lennox and Illya decide to settle down, they head to live back in Sacae with the intent of forming a new tribe with Illya as the head. Regardless of how that progresses, Illya winds up pregnant with twins. They name the boy after Lennox' oft-overlooked grandfather and the girl after his late mother.

RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 10-16-2015

Okay, so here's some more.

Future attire Shad with same color cloak as Maria.
Same as above, with added circlet/crown.

So going back up the tree to 24 generations before Shad/Lennox, this is Aster Hyperion, son of Hildebrand and Francesca. He's the third wielder of Dyrnwyn, inheriting the blade from his father. He didn't hold much regard to the Hyperion traditions and took more after Francesca than Hildebrand.

And this is his son, the fourth wielder of Dyrnwyn, Anton Hyperion. He was one of the more 'productive' Hyperions, siring seven heirs, through four marriages. However, three of them died trying to wield Dyrnwyn before an heir came forth who could hold the blade. Shad and Lennox' line descends from one of the other heirs of Anton, rather than the one who wielded Dyrnwyn. That branch of the family would die out a couple of generations later thanks to Dyrnwyn.

RE: Swift's Mugs - Andy - 10-16-2015

I like the look of Aster.

Also, Anton must have sired a bastard whose line begets Bartre. I like that that mug was actually useful for once. No one cares about him, and that makes me sad.

RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 10-17-2015

It's possible. Anton definitely got around and Bartre's hair color looks very similar to that of the Hyperions, for the FE6/7 color scheme at least.

New mug, once again. This time...well, it's a revamp of sorts. So, in the very first post I have a work-in-progress mug of Marcellus, aka Luka Hyperion. He's the son of Shad and Alice in this timeline, father to Gabriel and Ash, also from the first post. Well...his features really seem to clash with those of his parents and children, so I decided to revamp the whole thing. Also taking out the pirate element, since that was only really there because I was going to play either Ash or Gabriel if we did another post-disaster rp, which we didn't.
Like the original, he inherits more of his mother's physical traits than he does the father. Kay Hyperion, Shad's son with Cassandra in the original timeline, was a bit of a start of this trend, having sandy/bronze hair and silver bangs. But instead, I went with Luka taking on Alice's hair and skin tones. Shad's contributions include eye-color and a birth mark near his eye.

RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 10-20-2015

Okay...so this is an Alice heavy post. Recently binge watched Danmachi and it gave me some ideas to design.

[Image: AliceMessyhair_zps2udy1jam.png][Image: AliceMessyArmor_zpscffx0ofr.png][Image: AliceHoodMessyHair_zpsmmk1efp4.png][Image: AliceHoodMessyArmor_zpsrwa0slh5.png]
Okay, so this is Alice with her hair slightly grown out and kinda messy, in both 'civilian' and armored versions. As well as a added hood for both versions as well.

[Image: AliceHood_zpsuookpywc.png][Image: AliceHoodArmor_zpsxuxknxt7.png]
And to stay consistent, this is Alice using her hood with her currently shorter and tider hair style.

RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 10-21-2015

And again!

[Image: OlderLowellFen_zpsv4l2cd7i.png][Image: NewMaria_zpsi3jwn4sm.png]
So this is a new mug and a revamped mug. The first mug is an older Lowell Fen, although by this time he's going by Lowell Hyperion, having taken on Maria's surname. And a revamped Maria with different hairstyle and slight color scheme change. Her outline has been changed back to the normal FE8 one and instead she now wears a mix of dark purple and red.

This is Bell Hyperion, Lowell and Maria's oldest son. I'll have some other children made, but for now, back to Bell. Bell would be trained as a mage, like his mother. It was primarily in use of Anima magic, but he is much more gifted as a healer. Lowell would also train him to use a spear, to which end he would have a custom staff made that had a spear head attached to one end.

RE: Swift's Mugs - A Working Man - 10-21-2015

A healer that can use a spear? Wish there was something like that in the FE games. I like the mug overall, especially the color scheme. It just fits him.

RE: Swift's Mugs - MMM - 10-21-2015

(10-21-2015, 06:20 PM)A Working Man Wrote: A healer that can use a spear? Wish there was something like that in the FE games.

Falcoknights in Awakening get lances and staves, and Brides get bows on top of that (DLC though)

(also yay 100 posts)

RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 10-21-2015

The idea is kinda based on staves from Dragon Age II and Inquisition. There staves have small spear heads or blunt weapons on one side, even though they have no physical attacking animations for them. A different version of Wolfram Caron in a Dragon Age rp uses a staff like that.

RE: Swift's Mugs - Breadophile - 10-22-2015

(10-21-2015, 06:20 PM)A Working Man Wrote: A healer that can use a spear? Wish there was something like that in the FE games. I like the mug overall, especially the color scheme. It just fits him.

"Hey, I can use a spear and stave! As to be expected of The Great Falcoknight Kalin!

Also, Shad, your family is really expansive."

She started to whisper, chiming in the next line.

"A lot of them seem really wacky too."

Returning to her normal voice.

"They're like my family, except with more murder and death. You even have the excessive amounts of fire in there. Though more on the receiving end when it comes to your side.

Anyway, Dyrnwyn Smernwin. I don't know if you're specifically looking for it, but I hope you never find that sword. Otherwise you might burn yourself to death. I don't need a friend following in my arsonist brother's footsteps. After all, it's a miracle he's still alive.

Besides, if you're that dedicated you probably don't need it to achieve your goals."

RE: Swift's Mugs - Swift_Assassin - 10-23-2015

So I was just playing Tales of Zestiria....and after a long while noticed something a bit peculiar. I fiddled around with some of the customization options and...yeah.

That's Sorey wearing the clothes of Yuri from Tales of Vesperia and some other customization with Rose using Milla from Tales of Xillia 2's hairstyle.

Change Sorey's eye color a bit(and remove those earrings) and that could be a picture of Shad and Alice. So...yeah. I'm currently working on making Shad in Sorey's Shepard outfit. I was working on making Alice in Rose's clothes...but I have to go at it again.
