I feel like I've encountered this before but I'm not sure.

As you can see Blackstorm's War Mage has 34 (which I think would be the value at her actual level, 20/1) out of its 46 HP. It's turn 1, I haven't attacked him yet, Sudden Death isn't in this and it seems that the War Mage is the only unit affected for whatever weird reason. I don't think it will affect the outcome of this particular battle given that we're still far apart, but this could be worth looking into.
