Not sure if this is a temporary thing since the update, but mercs, knights, archers and mages start with reduced hp. Just lettin u know.
Can be seen here http://feto.feplanet.net/battle/139486 We havent fought yet as logs show, but all mentioned units have reduced hp

This happened to me before and it's due to the stat changes. Whenever certain classes are rebuilt their stats are calculated again and if the units are in a level 20 mode battle without being level 20, their current HP is set to what they'd have at their current actual level. This will probably occur a few more times with the classes we plan on stat changing soon, but it won't happen for a while after we have taken care of all of them.
