Maybe change bow toys to longbow variants?<br />

As you can see more Overworld sprites for units are appearing and the squares are slowly disappearing. I have discovered that I am also able to alter/add natures for FETO and would like to see what should be added. In the current build of FETO, natures give +5% in 3 stats while decreasing 3 other growths by 5% and leaving one of them neutral. Any ideas?<br />

			<description><![CDATA[They give +2 def, +1 res and +40 avoid. However only flying units can pass through them, other units can't move on top of them. The only way to get a unit who can benefit from the bonuses on such a peak is to rescue with a flying unit that then has to die (if I'm not mistaken regular dropping isn't even possible) so that it automatically drops the unit on the peak. And this way it's even possible for a foot unit to become trapped in the mountain which may well render the whole point of the action useless.<br />

That has to be the stupidest thing I've seen in FETO so far. Probably even more stupid than Charitable Princesst. Why is such a type of terrain even in the game when it could be replaced with a village/fence or peak (which foot units can actually move across)?<br />

These need to go, or they need to be massively overhauled. Don't even try to justify their use. They're entirely too broken for fair use right now. The only status staff that can be considered close to balanced is the Fear staff, and even then, that has its own balancing issues.<br />

I know a lot of people here make comparisons to Pokemon, so I will make one too. Statuses are stupid in Pokemon too. Freeze hax is probably the most stupid of them all. But good god, at least GameFreak gave us the decency to at least PLAY AROUND THEM.<br />
<br />
We don't have that luxury here.<br />
<br />
So we need to figure out how we can set up FETO so status isn't an insurmountable imposing challenge. <br />
<br />
I've already discussed class-specific immunities to one specific status. Like, <br />
-WTA2 foot weapon units (Ranger, Hero, Warrior, Infantry) being immune to Blind<br />
-Dual-tome BMages (such as Chaos Knight) and physical staff units (including unpromote Troubadour) immune to Silence<br />
-Seraph Knight and Peregrine Knight being immune to Seal<br />
-BMage Anti-Crit Promotes immune to Sleep.<br />
-Staff Peg Mage Promotes immune to Poison<br />
-??? Promotes immune to Freeze.<br />

I've also discussed class-specific skills to play around status, such as,<br />
<br />
-Sleep statused units being able move and attack under the sleep condition, but with an entirely random weapon, like Sleep Talk in Pokemon.<br />
-A class skill that cuts status staff accuracy by 50% (if you have 100% hit, you have 50% hit, likewise if you have 56% hit you have 28% hit)<br />

Additionally, I've thought of various other status ailments to replace the ones we have, such as burn (-X amount of pow), confusion (makes your weapon choice selection entirely random, with X% of backfire), and paralysis (-X amount of speed).<br />

Similar to Mint's rage comics, except I'm not artistically inclined, so all you get is a hand-written story! These battles features either me being salty during or about the battle outcome, or the other player being salty, or both.<br />

Mike just popped another mug of whiskey, not even caring what's going on at the tavern. "Does it really matter?"<br />

But the conversation got broken by a battle manager coming to inform the team about something. "Zoryou has joined your battle! Magic Library, 6 units, max level 11."<br />

Falaflame smirked. "Well, he's going against us. Ready your shit, guys!"<br />
Aless scoffed. "Pfft. This'll be no sweat."<br />

"I did not win 885 battles to be thrown into the ground like this because of my team's inability to land a god damn hit when it's fucking needed. Keep in mind, 75% of all those fucking wins didn't come from me curbstomping newbies that don't know any better, they're against people who can hold their damn water. You guys, on the other hand, couldn't hit water if you fell out of a fucking BOAT. So do me a god damn favor, and do your damn job!"<br />

"That I shouldn't rely so much on my lucky charm," answered Soul.<br />

Similar to Mint's rage comics, except I'm not artistically inclined, so all you get is a hand-written story! These battles features either me being salty during or about the battle outcome, or the other player being salty, or both.<br />

Falaflame raised his cup up in celebration of the last battle. "Alright, guys, we did well against Blue's team. Let's march forward with another battle!"<br />

Soul and Kyre pumped each other's fists. "I'm down for another one," said Soul, "May my lucky charm keep us undefeated!"<br />
Consumptus shrugged. "We're at Level 11 now. That's how many battles have we not lost?"<br />
Kaishin gave the others a weird look. "Don't get cocky, guys. I don't want to see that outlook flip upside down whenever that streak gets broken."<br />
Mike just popped another mug of whiskey, not even caring what's going on at the tavern. "Does it really matter?"<br />

But the conversation got broken by a battle manager coming to inform the team about something. "Zoryou has joined your battle! Magic Library, 6 units, max level 11."<br />

Falaflame smirked. "Well, he's going against us. Ready your shit, guys!"<br />
Aless scoffed. "Pfft. This'll be no sweat."<br />

Falaflame chipped in, saying, "Doesn't matter to me. All that matters is, you guys are getting your day's work in."<br />

The battle had started. After about 4 turns of dancing, Zoryou left an opening for a two kill first strike.<br />

"That's two kills right there, guys," called out Falaflame. "If we manage to miss one, it's ok. We can get by with 1 dead unit on their end. Just make sure they die!"<br />

After an enraged Falaflame had Kyre heal and Soul weaken the enemy cleric more, he ended the turn unsatisfied. Meanwhile, Zoryou looked at Falaflame with a confused look. "I'm surprised I'm even lasting this long."<br />
"Well, yeah, because my mystic can't hit the broad side of a barn if he really tried to." chipped Falaflame.<br />

Kyre soon died to a blick. Soul was damaged that same turn, too.<br />

Falaflame threw his feather pen on the ground in disgust, and looks at his two remaining units on field and spoke loudly. "I did not win 885 battles to be thrown into the ground like this because of my team's inability to land a god damn hit when it's fucking needed. Keep in mind, 75% of all those fucking wins didn't come from me curbstomping newbies that don't know any better, they're against people who can hold their damn water. You guys, on the other hand, couldn't hit water if you fell out of a fucking BOAT. So do me a god damn favor, and do your damn job!"<br />

Both units were in complete silence for a moment. Soul finally spoke after about a few minutes. "Well, that's a motivation speech if I've ever heard one..."<br />

Falaflame's turn came back up. He's faced with a 2HKOable Mike and a 1HKOable Soul.<br />

"With my bad luck, that shortbow would probably hit," said Zoryou. "Want to just leave it at a draw?"<br />
Falaflame sighed. "I guess there's no choice."<br />

Hours later, back at the tavern...<br />

"So, my team, what have we learned today?" asked Falaflame.<br />

"That our greatest enemy is ourselves," answered Consumptus.<br />
"That we really should've won that battle, all odds given," answered Aless.<br />
"That as long as RNs are involved, no strategy is foolproof," answered Kyre<br />
"That I need a class change," answered Mike.<br />
"That I shouldn't rely so much on my lucky charm," answered Soul.<br />
"That RNG is a fucking bitch," answered Kaishin.<br />

Falaflame sat in complete silence from all the answers given to him. "But no matter what excuses we have," said Falaflame, "our streak is over."]]></content:encoded>
