My Dark Knight has overcaped Def.? - A Working Man - 11-28-2015
So. I'm playing FETO, trying to add on to my losing streak when LLL says..

So, It's a Lv.1 DK with a Def. of 12. It's nature is Brute.
Is it a problem, and if so, how do I fix it?

First of all
I can assure you this isn't a bug. You might have noticed there is a statistic calculator (link) and what it does for you is calculate the stats any of your characters reaches at level 20 or at level 20/20, depending on whether you wish to promote it - you can also calculate stats for any class you feel like outside of the immediate scope of characters you have already created.
Now, at level 1, it has 12 Defense, and its growth is 50%. As you may already know FETO has fixed growths so rather than getting random points in stats you get, in this particular example, 0.5 in Defense each time you level up. If you check that Dark Knight's growths in the statistic calculator, you'll see that the Defense at level 20 is displayed as 20.00 (22.00). This is due to stat caps, which are normally 20 across the board (40 for HP) for most classes with armors, troubs, pegs and mage fighters (promoted classes with magic and physical weapons) being the few exceptions. The value displayed in brackets is what you would theoretically reach if there were no stat caps, but since they do exist, you only reach the cap - which is 20. So basically, you're wasting 2 points that you could invest in other stats - 3 if you want to promote the Dark Knight if I'm not mistaken.
Hope this makes it clear what I meant by overcapping.
