Turtling is indeed the norm in FFAs, though there was a suggestion for introducing "Kill X units mode" for that which is (probably?) easier to code than stat boosts after a kill (though that would also sound interesting). And as for lords, I would also hope that it becomes a "box thing" (10/10 vocabulary) so you can literally select the number of lords you want, though only problem is how many people would actually go over 3 because they're pretty expensive Tongue Well, and that I don't know just how many other things would have to be modified for that to work.
Again, not sure how programming works, but we have many modes already that modify character stats (particularly lord defeat which buffs the lord) so Im not sure if my idea would be impossible coding wise. As for the lords thing, having the option to set lords is good imo (i think better than forced with the 1 max), if its a coding issue thats different, but even if most people only go with under 3 lords, thats fine. Also i think having the money for a lord is just as hard as getting a 20/20 character.

Another game mode idea i have is "marked". This is probably most complicated coding wise (again idk). Basically its like lord defeat but instead of losing when lord is killed, you lose when a random character is killed. Unlike the lord defeat mode, character wont get any buffs but to offset that the enemy wont be able to see which enemy unit is 'marked' (but you can see which of your units is marked). I think it would be interesting, especially how you manage the marked unit, you dont want it dying but do you risk opponent finding out which unit it is...

Final idea (i hope lol) is one which makes skill activate easier (like lower the requirement by 1 or something). Honestly i would think this has been already suggested (and maybe shot down?) but i reckon it would like a fun game mode (like sadistic or sudden death or something)

Are broken walls and snags implemented in FETO? Cause maybe there could be maps with them, but maybe all weapons would do a fixed damage to them and it wouldnt use weapon?

Also with making maps, how do I make the png image?

I'm 99.99% sure they're not implemented.
As for making maps, you get FE Map Creator, import a tileset, generate the map size you want, place tiles (which is really easy, actually) and then go on Edit > Copy Map Image, paste it on paint, save it and you're done!
