Name: Ryan “Geoffrey Logan”
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Nation/Allegiance: From Lycia, allegiance to Bern and Etruria.
Appearance/Description: Standing at a brusque 6 feet tall and weight 204lbs, Ryan is a man who is physically imposing. With a very muscular build and natural athleticism he is a more than a match for most. He has medium brown hair which falls over his forehead but does not cover his eyes. He has a part slightly to the right of center and his hair reaches the bottom of his neck in length. His skin color is of a dark peach (a slightly tan Caucasian) and sports a beard. His beard is not incredibly long, but just past the point of stubble. It is full and is the same color as his hair. His eyes are of a piercing blue.
For Formal attire he wears a long black shirt with golden trim and borders. It has a long collar that is often folded over itself to look most proper. He has matching Black Pants and a blue cape. For battle he puts his armor over his formal attire. He has a royal blue breastplate with a golden border at the very top. His Pauldrons and Vambraces are both royal blue as well. He has a Golden belt with a blue fauld and royal blue greaves. His shield is shaped like a kite with rounded off edges. It is metallic blue and features a red cross on it. He wears dark brown boots that come up 8 inches from his ankles.
His horse Charles is white with a dirty blonde mane, and is 8 years old. He wears a silver protective mask over his face and has a silver saddle. Charles is a strong and sturdy steed through and through.
His sword is 46 inches and its hilt is wrapped in black leather. Its hand guard is silver and it has a ruby inserted into its pommel. Ryan also has a pole-axe that he wields on horseback. The shaft is made of Ash and is 5 and 3/4 feet long. The axe blade is bearded and is only on the front side. The rear side axe is much smaller and it more for design purposes than actually to be used in battle. The shaft ends in a thin spear point used for stabbing. He also carries a dozen small hatchets with him to be used from range. His final pieces of inventory are a short bow and two score of arrows, and a small dagger used for hunting and everyday tasks.

Personality: Ryan is a very stoic individual at first, but upon further glance he is very fiery and passionate. He values justice and honor above else, and ale a little lower than that. A man no stranger to bars, his personality becomes quite aggressive when he is drunk. Despite his hard soldier exterior, he is a very kind and compassionate man, unable to turn away from those in danger or in need of help. He is also the unlikely comedian, trying to kill awkward or tense events with bluntly sarcastic jokes. He carries his morals and his philosophies on his sword, and he carries his enemies on his axe.

Bio/Backstory: Ryan was born in Ostia, to Martin and Teresa. His mother and father owned and managed a smithy. His father was a blacksmith of some minor, local renown. At the tender age of 14 he entered the service of the Ostian army and served as a cavalier and his natural penchant for combat saw him rise in the rankings slowly, but surely. After 10 years he finds himself a Sergeant and a respectable soldier and blacksmith. His mother is incredibly sick and his father crafting a sword of his best abilities. For the next year he works tireless as a soldier and smith to make enough money to take care of his mother as her sickness worsens. Half a year later his father completes his masterpiece sword but his mother dies. After the funereal of Teresa, Martin falls into a deep depression and closes his blacksmith. Staying home to take care of his father Ryan suffers severe docks in pay from the Lycian army. 5 months later, Martin dies of depression. Afterwards Ryan is sent with the Lycian army to eradicate some bandits on the Etrurian trade routes. Despite protest from Ryan to be careful for citizens, many innocent Lycians are forced from their home. Not fond of the hostilities towards Etruria, Ryan finds himself more and more distrusting of his country. After a year of border patrol and becoming increasingly disgruntled by his homeland, he is part of the Etrurian invasion. After many battles he grows sick of it all and deserts his army. He takes his father’s sword, his army issued poleaxe, his trusty bow and arrows and knife, and his 12 crafted hatchets and flees on the back of his trust horse Charles.
As a criminal on the run, he escapes northeast towards Sacae. Living off the wilderness for a weak and traveling southeast he finds himself again in Lycia, but this time under the guise of Geoffrey Logan, a traveling mercenary. After doing a few jobs in Caelin he is found out by the Lycian army. Realizing he is a fool for using a shield with his family crest on it, the wanted traitor flees eastward for Bern, hoping that there he can find a way to bring justice to the Lycian empire. As he rides through the mountains, he thinks about how the new king of Bern has been trying to correct the image of his country; he clutches the hilt of his axe, knowing that there is still a good chance of bandits about…
