Name: Caroline
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Nation/Allegiance: Illia

Appearance/Description:
Caroline is a fairly tall young woman with purple colored hair and fairly pale white skin, traits that many other Illians seem to share. She wears her hair fairly short, preferring to keep it out of her face if at all possible. While no great beauty, her face is pretty and has a pleasing shape to it. Her eyes are a dark blue.

Caroline’s body is feminine and curved, but also muscular and athletic, as any young woman aspiring to be a pegasus knight should be. She wears simple blue and white clothes, over which several light metal plates form her armor. Typically she carries a light spear and a small shield into battle.

She has no pegasus to ride. Despite years of training and wanting, the vertigo Caroline experiences when riding one of those magnificent is just too strong. Caroline has, however, not allowed this to stop her from adventuring and mercenary-ing in the world. It just... isn’t part of official knight training.

Having left home, she’s eager to prove herself and to take work when she can find it, where she can find it. Wars are always a good source of mercenary work and she’s ready for jobs.

Bio/Backstory:
Caroline was born to a loving family in the cold mountainous wastes of Illia. From a young age, she was raised with one intention in mind - to join the glorious, beautiful pegasus knights of Illia! As such, she learned to make use of a number of small, light weapons and was encouraged to be very active. Training went well for some time, and so did other matters, like education and socialization. She learned important elements, like how to read and write, and also made some friends while growing up.

Some problems arose, however, when it came time to learn how to ride a pegasus. The dizziness, the vomiting, and the passing out made the act quite unsafe. There was hope that it would be just a phase - something she would eventually grow out of - but that just did not come to pass. It was fairly distressing for the young woman and more than a little annoying.

So on the day when the knight recruiter flat out told her that she would never be a knight - to never come back, Caroline left home. Left with the intent to carve her own path. She didn’t need to be a pegasus knight to be important, or to be famous or whatever. No! Instead, she’d find her own way and it would no doubt be better than joining that silly sorority.
