I just saw Ilyana as a waitress in a cafe and Aimee and Anna are shopkeepers. I expected Anna, but Ilyana and Aimee? I actually originally missed Aimee and Anna when I went through, but when I saw the waitress with Ilyana's hairstyle, it hit me why Aimee stood out a bit. When I double checked, sure enough, it was them.

I stopped playing right before the second dungeon. But yeah, it's a Persona game. Tiki is essentially the equivalent to the Velvet Room in the Persona games, at least that's what I've gathered from my first time visiting her.

The dungeons are like Persona, attacking symbols of enemies is like Persona. I wouldn't be surprised if they used this game to test some concepts for Persona 5.

Also, I actually like the gamepad integration. In the very first set of dialogue when the game starts puts you in a texting conversation with another character, which given the modern setting fits perfectly. It feels like that is something they really wanted to try out, since they can't try that on another console.
So I'm playing on hard, the game is decent so far, loading times not too bad...EP management is a thing and sessions make everything die more quickly. I like it so far~
1-month later post.

i got the special edition because i wanted the artbook, to say this game is japanese is an understatement; i've had my good laughs and some good cringe moments playing this and just now am getting ready for chapter 6.

the design for the mirages is great for the most part, some are outright what the hell though (virion's and tharja's master seals), mamori's a cutie.

really bothered by some of the "localization" changes though, mainly the bride outfit. that recoloring looks hideous, and for a game based on fashion those photoshoot outfits are hideous.

battle system is prety fun though, sessions get a bit boring later on however but it's overall quite entertaining.
