Just saying that the time settings can be wrong on this forum. No matter what time setting you set it to, it can display one hour ahead rather than the time you set it to.

I need people to post here to see if they have the same issue as me.
It doesn't do that for me o.O (posted at 8:49AM CST)
Funny thing is, I've always noticed that MyBB has always done this, on every platform they ever made, on every PC I've tried it on.

I'm going to need to see everyone's input because it's highly unlikely I'm the only one affected.
My time is correct

Err, are you sure you put in the right timezone? Daylight savings?
Showing the correct time for me ^.^ What Jack said, really! xD
I thought I was having this bug, but went to go check my PC's time zone and forgot I had it on Central still, since I moved from Milwaukee.

And, I just checked, it seems the server's DST correction is odd.
My time is incorrect, by nearly 9 hours. I don't really mind it though.

Lol. Timezone settings are in the user CP though, if you need them.
Mine's correct. .-.
I don't get it. How is mine wrong? lol
change daylight savings or either timezone, whichever is incorrect for you atm. I have my daylight savings set to auto-detect though and it works fine. :o
Maybe your +/- is off? Like GMT +5:00 instead of GMT -5:00?
No, the +/- is correct.

Maybe MyBB hates me, lol.
Rofl That must be it. I don't know why it's working for everyone except you. .-.

Mine's incorrect by sixteen. I need to set that right...
Check your PC's timezone and DST and make sure it matches MyBB's data.

I'll be soon launching a small javascript/serverside data miner to gather aggregate browser-synchronized and system-synchronized time data from visitors, correlated to their DST and time zone/region settings and server-side time, and timezone.

Completely benign and I'll aim to make it anonymous, don't worry; but full disclosure is necessary for issues and changes of privacy and information policies - an unwritten (like all the rules, should be written) staff rule.

You can opt to delete your time data, and opt out of the time tracking using a cookie.
Once it's pinpointed, the data will no longer be necessary and will be discarded.

I'll let you know when it's up. Likely later tonight.
If I fix it, and can reproduce the bug myself, I'll submit the patch upstream.
All up-to-date MyBB sites would then have their timezone fixed.
