Banished is Medieval or something SimCity rip-off... noooooope. It's village/town builder game with strategy survival element because building a town isn't enough so you have to prevent your people from dying for starvation, hypothermia, diseases, fire, disasters etc...
So yeah... the player has to be prepared as the population grows (at least at the beginning having enough food and firewood might be a problem when first winter arrives unless playing on easy) and children... well, they just eat your goddamn food without doing anythingDFJHSTAEFN)#"%Y#"U?#?)JRF?) but they can be educated to be more efficient workers when they grow up.

Every new game the map is randomly generated soo... starting place might not be the best possible but how player manages their people and balance resources affects the most.
